Our Establishment grant supports research projects that help you get your health research program established within the province so you can achieve the research productivity necessary to obtain longer-term, more substantial funding from other sources and continue working towards better health for Saskatchewan residents and beyond.

Have you completed your doctoral degree within the past three years and are looking for more specialized training to advance your research career and develop your skills as an independent investigator? Are you an experienced, active, health researcher in Saskatchewan looking for highly qualified personnel? Our fellowship award provides two years of salary support and an allowance for research professional development to research fellows and supervisors who apply together with a proposed project.

Does your team have a research idea that is creative, novel and innovative? Does your idea have the potential to benefit the health of Saskatchewan residents and beyond, but you need seed funding for the initial steps that will strengthen future funding requests? This grant program can help!
Deadline: Two Months Before Event
Are you hosting an event that promotes the sharing and use of health research knowledge in Saskatchewan and encourages linkages between and among researchers and non-researchers? Research Connections grants provide matching funds to support knowledge exchange through health research conferences, major meetings, research days and like events that are organized and held in Saskatchewan.

Does your team focus on patient-oriented outcomes in-line with current priorities of the Saskatchewan health care system? This grant, based off of the Collaborative Innovation Development grant program, provides seed money to collaborative, interdisciplinary research teams conducting innovative research activities as a first step toward more comprehensive funding.
